Electronic components from Melecs can be found in control units and LED applications in the cars of international premium manufacturers as well as in household appliances of the European market leader. Along with tailor-made products and solutions for the automotive, lighting and home appliances segments, Melecs develops and produces electronic modules and components in the industrial area such as controls for escalators or energy-efficient heating systems. More than 90 percent of the sales of Melecs are attained with customers outside Austria. Medium-sized and large volumes of electronic modules and devices are built in the highly automated production facilities at Siegendorf/Austria and Györ/Hungary. Since 2016, we produce at our newly built plant in Wuxi/China and since 2018 also in our plant in Querétaro/Mexico for the support of our global customers.
